Job description
Due to growth within the company, and a maternity leave, we are seeking a full-time Warehouse Team Leader. This is a fantastic opportunity role which enables the applicant to play a key role in the growth and development of the company. As Warehouse Team Leader you will take responsibility of the daily warehouse operations & processes, stock control and order expediting. You will work within a small team, reporting to the Managing Director.
Whilst this is primarily a maternity leave cover, there is a reasonable prospect of the role becoming permanent for the right person as the business continues to grow and staffing needs increase.
As we enter peak period (Oct-Dec) working hours may change, and overtime may be necessary to meet demand, including weekends.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Supervise a small team and work "hands on" in a warehouse.
- Liasing with the Customer Services team and expediting orders
- Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt and storage of stock
- Providing motivation, leadership and direction to a small team of colleagues across all areas of warehouse activity, to include: goods received, put away, and order picking.
- Ensuring efficient processes.
- Ensuring stock levels in the warehouse are kept at the appropriate levels through replenishment.
- Effective communication with other departments and colleagues.
- Space maximisation
- Ensuring the warehouse areas are always kept clean and safe
Successful candidate will have:
- Proven Warehouse knowledge and experience.
- Previous experience as a team leader or warehouse supervisor is essential
- High level of physical fitness
- A warm, friendly, energetic personality
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Positive and self motivated with a 'can-do' attitude
- Must be computer literate

Salary: From £21,000.00 per year
