Manchester Stairs Limited is a Timber Staircase Manufacturing company based in Ashton-Under-Lyne. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly, personal service for all of our customers and guarantee quality workmanship and complete satisfaction with every project.
We cater for both small and large builders including supplementary orders and also bulk orders for national housing association companies. We use a variety of softwood and hardwoods depending on which you may require and we guarantee all of our products are FSC® certified.
Our firm is currently hiring an experienced driver who will be responsible for delivering staircases and materials to various sites in and around the North of England. An ideal candidate will need to have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience and show the capacity to work independently when needed.
Upon employment, you must complete a trial period of 3 months with monthly reviews prior to receiving a contract. After you complete the trial period and we are satisfied with your work ethic and performance, you will be offered a contract. The contract will have a 6 month probationary period, after this the position will become permanent.
When not delivering goods to site, your roles will be to help out in the workshop. This may entail painting, sanding and any general labour within the workshop to assist with the production of the manufacturing of stairs.
Driving license checks will be done prior to employment and random breath tests will be carried out at the companies discretion.
